  1. Find out what carbon footprint means:

Carbon footprint is the amount of pollution we create when we use electricity, cars, airplanes, various industrial or agricultural products. It is a measure of the total amount of greenhouse gases that each person or human activity releases directly or indirectly into the atmosphere and affects the environment and climate change.

  1. Calculate the carbon emitted by the human activity that is assigned to your team for analysis. Use the online carbon calculator available at https://www.carbonfootprint.com/calculator.aspx.
  2. Present the results of your study to the class, comparing them to those made by other teams.
  3. Discuss and draw conclusions about which human activities have the largest carbon footprint.
