What I learned
❖ Clean air is essential for human health and well-being and for the whole ecosystem.
❖ Air quality plays an important role in the development and progression of non-communicable diseases, as polluted particles can enter the respiratory system and damage human tissues and organs.
❖ Acid rain is a serious threat to the environment and is caused by pollutants in the atmosphere that mix with the rain as it falls.
❖ Everyone can contribute to improving air quality by reducing the use of solid and liquid fuels, preferring alternative modes of transport (walking, cycling, public transport), planting plants, and avoiding burning waste.
